These are the first two in a series called, "Rise Above" .  With all that is going on with the pandemic which caused major changes in a lot of our lives, I have been meditating with the intention of rising above the chaos. Here I can obtain a perspective that levels it all out allowing me to rest.

The "Red Room Collection".

This series called "The Red Room Collection" basically began last year,  from my desire to paint from a sort of out of mind experience, meaning thinking less and more allowing. The name of the collection is because I have a small red room, in my house, that has served many purposes since my son moved out, it being his room previous to that.  Chase had chosen the color which I also loved. I have envisioned it as a galley/ healing/ meditation room for a couple years and now it is that. Red is the color of the base chakra which connects us to Mother Earth keeping us grounded, feeling safe and loved when it is open and clear.  My cat Sadie has claimed it whenever it has been vacated by various renters,and so now it is also her sanctuary.
