Update May 2012

Change is everywhere in my personal world. A major life shift is in progress. Finding some sense of reality in these times is tricky business as reality is subjective and fleeting. Breathe as deeply as possible and let go. Love to you all, Namaste

Love Is, I AM.

I hope my images and words can represent my intention to share, what bit of Grace is bestowed upon me, with you.
Thank you
Namaste (" I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth. of light and of peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, WE ARE ONE."

Watercolors and Haiku

"Shadows crossing the vast expanse, of my open heart, as death becomes.
                                                        "Standing on the edge
of the flowing stream of my Life-
                                                           At the end of Us.

                                                        Caught between two worlds
                                                                both reaching as One watches-
                                                          Unsettled Remains.

The last series of watercolors I did was in 2002!!!  It was for a book of  illustrated haiku called "Unsettled Remains".    At the time, and for several years previous to that, I felt torn into pieces by the circumstances that I had created in my life.  I was not able to sleep(a one time experience for me).  I would get up at 4am and work on this project until I left for work at 9 or so.  It was my first experience with working on a computer at all.  The images, though, were completely hand done original watercolors, not manipulated at all on computer.  At the time I did not want to do anything on the computer, I was too much in love with the materials themselves, the paint, papers, canvasses etc.
Another series of watercolors I did were inspired by my trips to Joshua Tree.  The people trapped inside the rocks were everywhere evident.  The place is one of my favorite anywhere.
There were the most unusual formations, one's imagination could have a rest because the real landscapes were far more creative than my mind's.

This piece was part of the book of Haiku and also inspired by Joshua Tree. "Heaven and Earth are dreamt as One world- Enlightened...by Sitting in Peace."
